I am a Pittsburgh ex-pat who has been living in Brooklyn, NY since 1983. Although I have been living in Brooklyn longer than I lived in Pittsburgh I still consider Pittsburgh my home. As a result I still root for all of Pittsburgh’s sports teams. My passion has always been baseball and the Pirates since I attended my first game in 1977 with my dad.

I remember the Pirate teams from the late 70′s, early 80′s and of course the early 90′s. I look forward to seeing championship Pirate teams again.

Although I am not a true sabermetric guy I think that they do have something to offer with their analysis. But sometimes it is just useless.
